Once the largest Roman Catholic Parish in England with about 13, 000 parishioners, the Church of Saint Francis Xavier (SFX) is a magnificent Grade 2* listed building in Salisbury Street, Liverpool....

The Friends of SFX was launched in December 2010 to promote and celebrate the church’s history, architecture and its wider community by organising events for members and guests, collating and circulating Friends’ newsletters, and fundraising for church renovation and enhancement projects.
We have well over 100 members now who have joined for various reasons - because they are current or past parishioners; family, college, school, choir, club connections….or just because they think SFX is a beautiful and interesting building. Members are spread across the UK and we have two North American members.
