Saint Francis Xavier's Church, Liverpool: News and Events

A NEW HISTORY OF SFX

On 4th December 2008, St Francis Xavier\'s church celebrated it\'s 160th birthday. The history and guide to SFX, which was produced by Johnny Kennedy for the 150th anniversary, has been updated and is now available from the church at a cost of £2.95 (£4 including P&P in UK). It makes an ideal present and former parishioners and friends would be delighted to receive a copy - along with the stunning catalogue of the historic exhibition, HELD IN TRUST.

THE CAMPION MEDAL

Some years ago the British Jesuits started to award the Campion Medal to co-workers in their various centres. At Christmas Midnight Mass Peggy Tracey - who has run our Pensioners Club for over 30 years - and Tony O\\\'Driscoll - our sacristan for more than 25 years - were presented with the Campion Medal by Fr Ian Tomlinson SJ, the local Jesuit superior. AD MULTOS ANNOS.
